The Meditating Gnome

The history of theater pixies statues has it's start in myth and fantasy. Long before the first troll appeared in that first English Garden in the 1800s these little people were the subject of colorful stories that were told and retold. 

It seems that according to legend pixies lived underground where they would cover colorful buried treasures. Of course they occasionally did appear above ground and having a troll visit your property was allowed to be extremely good luck. So, as the story goes a squatter in England decided to buy a statue of a troll and put it in his theater for good luck. This first fascinating little fellow struck a cord with other property possessors and soon these little people were popping up each over. numerous of these original theater troll statues were handwrought of complexion and so each had their own distinct personality which made them all the more charming to those who sought the luck of these little fellows. 

While the pixies in the stories were noway described in any great detail, the theater troll took on a distinct look. The manly pixies all had white beards, red headdresses, and simple apparel. The women were dressed enough much the same, with long hair and they firstly looked veritably much like a witch. 

Also along came the 1960s and the manufacturing of cheap plastics which redounded in the mass product of rather bright multicolored and gaudy looking theater pixies. For awhile, these cheap carbons were popular, but they soon failed out as those who possessed original pixies set up these cheaply made plastic brutes commodity of an poke to the bills of old. 

Still, with the advancement of technology and new resins hitting the request, the manufacturing of theater pixies formerly again began to take on a more polished and charming look. still, these newer theater troll statues don't simply sit or stand around in the theater but, feel to be relatively active. While some hold watering barrels or nap among the tomatoes or sap, others moon passerby or indeed take a bath in the middle of the yard. 

 

While those who are set in their ways still turn up their tips at these newer more brightly multicolored little people and their colorful conditioning, a new generation of troll suckers find these gentle little callers a complete delight and a way to add a little color, personality, luck and megrim to their yard and theater . 

With the rejuvenescence of their fashionability these little fellows are popping up in all feathers of intriguing places. You might find one sleeping in a hammock, skimming from behind a tree or simply sitting on a gemstone reading the rearmost adventure or puck tale. Wherever you find them and whatever they may be doing these little theater pixies are sure to bring a pleasurable smile to your face and a lot of charm to out-of-door décor.
